1. I read so much bad news about ocean temperatures and acidification in the last 10 days, and most of them again with the “much faster than expected” attached, that I just don’t see how our oceans aren’t gonna collapse by ~ 2027., maybe 2030. if we’re lucky.

   I’m constantly stuck between questioning whether everyone is so unaware, or they understand and care so little, or am I just catastrophizing and the articles are fear mongering?

   I genuinely can’t tell anymore.

2. i’m pretty sure it’s the ocean temps and acidification due to carbon dioxide, and we’ve know about it for decades. it’ll be the same cause as when all other life in the ocean dies, followed shortly by us.
