In Belarus on Tuesday, 7 October, the annual mobilization-readiness exercises began and will run until 10 October. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
The stated aim of the measures is to improve the coordination of actions of local authorities and organizations during the formation of territorial troops and people’s militia detachments.

During the exercises, special attention will be paid to training officials of local executive committees, military commissariats, organizations, as well as those liable for military service, on matters related to the formation of territorial troops.

According to the department, the trainings are conducted in the usual format and are aimed at increasing coordination and readiness of the various levels of governance under mobilization conditions.

Such drills are intended to ensure greater coordination of actions among executive authorities, military commissariats, and territorial formations, as well as to increase the speed of command during possible mobilization processes.
Experts note that such measures strengthen regions’ readiness for rapid mobilization of forces and resources as needed, ensuring a smoother transition to mobilization actions.
