  14. A lot of us told them exactly what they were voting for. We included a citation to project 2025 where they wrote down what they planned to do.

    We were called alarmist or doomers. So no, there is no excuse. This is exactly what you voted for.

  42. On the one hand it’s good if people legitimately turn on him, on the other, Trump has spent his entire life making it crystal clear that his sense of self-worth is based on inflicting abject cruelty on anyone and everyone who he holds power over. That is what they voted for.

  44. Eh, I don’t think these people have any value or integrity. They don’t truly believe in anything other than their own self interest. They would say whatever it is that will get them more listeners and followers.

    They were supporting Trump then because they expected that that was their listeners were and that they would gain more listeners from the buzz surrounding it. And in turn, they influenced their dumb as rocks listeners to vote for the orange turd for the lol. It’s a disgusting and stupid feedback loop. And they are saying these things now because people are starting to see some of the horrible actions and consequences of this administration policies. These ppl will happily change their tune again if somehow supporting Trump stance would bring more listeners to them again (or if they are getting a pay day out of doing that.)

  45. Marc Marin has a great bit how most of his comedian friends voted republican for the sole reason of being able to use the “r” word. Like Trump has any control over that.
