Kinda had the same situation here. When I was still living with my parents I once came home 15 minutes later from my evening shift than usual because I stopped somewhere for some fuel and a snack. Mom said she was starting to get worried because I usually came home at 22:10 instead of 22:25
Nah not accurate for Germany considering you go 13 years to school if you go the academia route. Ain’t no serious parent will kick out their kid still going to school.
I love my parents, but why would I want to stay with them if I’m able to live alone?
Just move in with a PIGS mom, problem solved

And even with a wife and children, it’s very healthy to have Grandparents living with you (only if you get along with each other ofc).
Both Parents can work (more money), since the Grandparents look after the Children. That has only advantages for all sides, Children, Grandparents and Parents.

The moment i turned 18 my mom remodeled my room to a hobby photography studio. I’m not even kidding, I went out the weekend to hang out with friends and when I came back my shit was packed and I slept on my couch until I went to study a couple weeks later lol
Funny you put a dutch flag in there. I’m 28 and just managed to buy a house. Good luck buying or renting something at 18. Even student housing is rare and incredibly expensive

Everytime I got out, my mum asks me when I’m coming back home, so when the night it’s over, I text her. I gotta keep her calm

That we are so poor that cannot take care of our children?” vs protestant “These are our available supplies for the winter, we are not needed to provide you susteinance anymore. Go, and never look back, and if you struggle it means that God hates you and you deserve it”.
Applicable also to how to treat guests maybe lol.
That said, still remember the pippone my mother silently yelled at me at night when I dared to return at 2, when I was ~~65~~17
