United Airlines has revealed its Summer 2026 flight schedule, introducing nonstop service to four exciting new destinations in Croatia, Italy, Scotland, and Spain. This expansion positions United as the U.S. carrier offering the most transatlantic destinations.

For the upcoming summer, United will be the exclusive U.S. airline to offer direct flights from its Newark/New York hub to Split, Croatia; Bari, Italy; Glasgow, Scotland; and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Additionally, the airline will debut new nonstop service from Washington-Dulles to Reykjavik, Iceland, as well as launch a year-round daily flight from Newark/New York to Seoul, South Korea. United will also increase its weekly flights between Newark/New York and Tel Aviv, Israel, adding four more flights to reach a total of 18 weekly services.

“United has an unmatched international network, and we pride ourselves on connecting our customers to unique, trendsetting destinations no other U.S. airline serves,” said Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances. “With the addition of these new flights and the return of all of our new routes from last year, United now flies to 46 cities across the Atlantic – more than any other airline – and is the clear flag carrier of the U.S.”

United Airlines continues to solidify its position as the premier choice for global travel, expanding its international offerings with nearly 3,000 weekly round-trip flights set for the summer of 2026. This comes alongside United’s continued service to all nine destinations added during its largest-ever expansion last summer, including seasonal routes to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; Nuuk, Greenland; Palermo, Italy; Bilbao, Spain; Madeira Island, Portugal; Faro, Portugal; and year-round services to Dakar, Senegal; Puerto Escondido, Mexico; and Kaohsiung.

With the Summer 2026 schedule, United’s new and returning destinations promise a wide variety of travel experiences, from relaxing on beach shores to exploring historic cities, vibrant urban cultures, and scenic landscapes. United will operate more than 850 daily flights to over 150 international destinations, including 41 that are unique to the airline, offering travelers diverse options for adventure and discovery worldwide.

All new services are pending government approval and will be available for booking on United.com and the United app.

New Nonstop Routes:

Split, Croatia
Starting April 30, United will introduce nonstop service between Split and the United States, the first of its kind. Split offers a combination of historical exploration, such as the ancient Roman Diocletian’s Palace and the Cathedral of Saint Dominus, alongside vibrant coastal experiences on the palm-lined Riva promenade, where travelers can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and explore nearby islands like Hvar. United will operate three weekly flights from Newark/New York on a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

Bari, Italy
Beginning May 1, United will provide nonstop service between Bari and the United States, marking the only direct flight available to the region. Bari serves as a gateway to Italy’s Puglia region, known for its stunning hilltop towns, beaches along the Adriatic Sea, and the iconic Trulli buildings. The service will run four times per week on a Boeing 767-300ER, offering travelers direct access to the area’s rich cultural and natural attractions. Bari is among the six Italian cities served by United next summer.

Glasgow, Scotland
United will be the sole U.S. airline offering nonstop flights between the U.S. and Glasgow, starting May 8. Known for its world-class museums, iconic architecture, and historic pubs, Glasgow offers visitors a variety of cultural experiences. The service will operate daily from Newark/New York on a Boeing 737-MAX8 aircraft, providing a seamless connection to Scotland’s largest city, recognized as a UNESCO City of Music.

Santiago de Compostela, Spain
United will offer exclusive nonstop service from Newark/New York to Santiago de Compostela beginning May 22, operating three times weekly. Located in the Galicia region, this historic city is famous for its stunning cathedrals and medieval architecture and is a key endpoint of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The flight will operate on a Boeing 737-MAX8, with United now flying to six Spanish destinations, including Bilbao, Malaga, and Palma de Mallorca, the only U.S. airline to offer nonstop routes to these cities.

Reykjavik, Iceland
United is expanding its Iceland offerings with new daily service between Reykjavik and Washington Dulles, starting May 21. The service will be operated on a Boeing 757-200, providing the only lie-flat business class option for this route. United’s existing flights from Chicago and Newark/New York complement the new service, making it easier for travelers to explore Iceland’s natural beauty, including the Blue Lagoon, Northern Lights, and black sand beaches.

Seoul, South Korea
From September 4, United will offer nonstop flights from Newark/New York to Seoul, the only U.S. airline to do so. Travelers can experience South Korea’s cultural vibrancy, including its famous K-pop scene, vibrant markets, and world-renowned beauty and wellness treatments. Flights will be operated daily on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Tel Aviv, Israel
Starting March 28, United will increase its service to Tel Aviv with a third flight from Newark/New York. This adds to its existing routes from Newark, Chicago O’Hare, and Washington Dulles, further reinforcing its position as the largest U.S. carrier to Israel. The new flights will be operated on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering more options for travelers heading to Tel Aviv.

With these new routes, United continues to set the standard in connecting U.S. travelers to exciting international destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
