Host Austria seeks to avoid Eurovision boycott over Israel participation

1. Austria’s foreign minister, who is now begging European countries not to boycott Eurovision because austria put its eggs into a very dirty basket, just 2 months ago was telling us how Austria stands on the side of Israel.

   This is about money and the fact that Austria is terrified that it’s going to not make enough money back from the Eurovision

   Why then does the same logic not apply to Russia? To clarify, I completely agree with the decision regarding Russia, at least because it would almost certainly try to use Eurovision as a political arena. But that is precisely why the same decision should be made regarding Israel.
