Speaking of British food, a friend of mine who lives in England told me that people there use the pumpkins only as Halloween decorations, and you can’t found them sold to be eaten, is that true?
And by the way, you can have all the greatest chefs ever, but if at home you eat like shit you still eat like shit
Edit: I thought you were a Brit, my bad, waiting for a Barry to answer
I had pie and mash when I visited London and it’s definitely top tier
I’m not sure what other Brit food is stereotypical besides beans and toast
London is not britain tho it’s a separate world like any other megacity
Alright you handled that pretty well Barry. Yer food is still shite though.
Gonna give Jimmy Carr a second chance after this. Didn’t really like him before but this is a good setup.
That heckle wasn’t too taxing for Carr
Damn. Barry has taken a bit too much Botox in recent years
A long time ago, I had the most incredible Sunday roast in London that I still dream about to this day. It was the best roast I have ever had: the finest meat, a stunning gravy, fluffy pudding, potatoes and other vegetables cooked with beef tallow. Oh my God!
I had great chinese Dim-Sum and indian Thali in London.
Starting with Jamie fucking Oliver when listing good British chefs is a choice for sure.
I have never been to the UK but my mom used to make an amazing Wellington Steak. I would gobble that thing every day.
I wish he hadn’t done the Riyadh Comedy Fest.
A lot of our food is beige and comforting. It’s for cold weather, it’s for batch cooking and for keeping you going.
Stews, pies, pasties, roasts. They are warm hearty meals that soothe the soul.
Yeah, you know what, there are some great foods that are more technically incredible and are arguably more refined from other countries.
But on a cold winters night, a steak and ale pie with mash and gravy, just cannot be beaten.
