1. Apparently New Zealand underwent a full frontal lobotomy and then kept digging, elected a bunch of right wing idiots into government which means they are now paying the price of populism, governance by idiocracy.

2. Disappointing. Not that I’m one to talk as a Canadian, but this isn’t what I assume that most Kiwis want.

3. So the ‘reasoning’ here is – protect farmers, to hell with the scientific truth and the wellbeing of billions.

4. Always amazes me inconsiderate to the environment the majority of farmers are (fully aware there’s a lot of good folks out there). Industrialisation has really screwed them up.

5. New Zealand is a major player in sheep meat. Even here in Germany you can buy it quite literally everywhere. 

   That certainly can’t be good for the climate either. 

   Vote with your pocket when politicians are corrupt as always and don’t eat meat

6. It’s not only about the methane. A lot of forest has been cut down to make room for all the cows and sheep. Before human settlement, New Zealand was 80-85% forest.

   Meanwhile the sky is literaly turned black from pollution in china and what? “China is leader in renewables”
