It might not feel like it, but Australians experienced the biggest jump in wealth in the world last year.
When net wealth from real estate and other financial assets are added together, each Australian was worth an average €383,720 ($686,410) in 2024, making us the world’s third-wealthiest population, according to Allianz’ Global Wealth 2025 report, which analyses the financial assets of global households in 2024.
