At least 38 executions between October 13 and 15 — one execution every less than two hours
Support from political prisoners in Ghezel Hesar and Evin, and from prisoners in Wards 1 and 4 of Ghezel Hesar, for the strikers

As the hunger strike of 1,500 death row prisoners in Ward 2 of Ghezel Hesar Prison enters its third day, inmates in other prisons — including political prisoners in Evin and Ghezel Hesar, as well as prisoners in Wards 1 and 4 of Ghezel Hesar — have risen in solidarity with them.

Today, the prison warden and other prison officials attempted to break the hunger strike. However, the prisoners, gathering in the corridor of Ward 2, announced the continuation of their protest and read a statement which said:

“We, a group of striking prisoners in Ward 2 of Ghezel Hesar, demand the abolition of the death penalty in Iran… We call upon all people, all who hear our voices, and all prisoners to support us death row inmates by any means possible. Our only refuge is you, the dear people of Iran. Execution is not our right, and prison is not our place. Raise your voices. Gather in front of the prisons and do not allow them to execute the prisoners.”

In a ridiculous show staged to cover up the hunger strike, today the clerical regime filmed prisoners in Ward 3 eating food, attempting to use the footage to falsely claim that there is no hunger strike in Ward 2. Earlier this morning, the judiciary’s official news agency had written: “A fabricated video circulated by all hostile media shows a hall in one of Ghezel Hesar’s wards where several inmates are sitting on the floor outside their rooms, and an individual claims these prisoners are on hunger strike in protest against the execution of their fellow inmates.”

Meanwhile, Khamenei’s executioners continue their relentless killing of prisoners. Between October 13 and 15, at least 38 inmates were executed — meaning that the criminal Khamenei has taken one human life every less than two hours during the past three days, something unprecedented not only in the 21st century but even in Iran under this same regime.

According to reports received by this afternoon, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, twelve prisoners were executed: Masoud Ne’matiniya and Alireza Razaghi in Arak; Milad Jahani and another prisoner in Shiraz; Ahmad Beg Naseri in Ilam; and two other prisoners in Ghezel Hesar. The names of the other victims were listed in the previous statement. On Tuesday, October 14, sixteen prisoners were hanged, including Ghasem Rahmatzehi and Meysam Gholami in Birjand. The names of the other victims had already been announced. On Monday, October 13, ten other prisoners were executed.

Last night, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, drew the attention of the international community to the hunger strike and the fate of the 1,500 death row prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison. She called for the immediate intervention of the United Nations, the member states of the Security Council, the European Union, and human rights advocates to end this horrific nightmare in Iran under the rule of the criminal mullahs.
