Controversial UK oil field publishes full scale of climate impact. Developers of the Rosebank oil field said nearly 250 million tonnes of planet warming gas would be released from using oil products from the field. By comparison, the UK’s annual emissions in 2024 were 371 million tonnes.

2. David Miliband has not been sacked yet so that indicates the government hasn’t completely ditched its remaining ethics on this yet.

   But if Miliband goes, this is going to happen. Or it will happen and Miliband will quit and then the transformation of Labour into the Tories will be complete.
