London will be left with just two police stations with front counters operating 24 hours a day, as ten more are set to close under cost-cutting measures – breaking a pledge made by the Metropolitan Police and the mayor of London.

1. It’s ok everyone Sadiq Khan said London is a safe city.

2. Ahhhh I see, we don’t need front counters for online tweets that hurt people’s feelings so let’s get rid of it.

3. Anything involving “pledge” and a politician at this stage is laughable surely?

   The only “pledge” I can think of that holds any weight is when the Fellowship pledged their allegiances to Frodo in the Fellowship of the Rings.

4. I was told that only Tories cut public services and that Khan was cracking down on crime. Sounds like the opposite?

6. Does this mean our council tax bill will be reduced to reflect the reduction of services we’re paying for.
