  1. Israel confirmed it killed Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, the Houthi chief of staff, who had long been a key ally of Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and a central figure in coordinating missile and drone attacks against Israel and Saudi Arabia.

According to Arab and Yemeni sources, al-Ghamari was fatally wounded in an Israeli airstrike on June 14, 2025, and later died in hospital, though Al Arabiya reported he was killed in an August 28 strike that also killed the Houthi prime minister and several ministers.

The Houthis officially confirmed his death on Thursday, vowing revenge and pledging to continue attacks “Until Jerusalem is liberated.”
Al-Ghamari had trained in Lebanon under Hezbollah and worked closely with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The US Treasury had sanctioned him for overseeing Houthi drone and missile operations and destabilizing Yemen.

His death is one of Israel’s most significant strikes on the Houthi leadership since the group joined the war following the Hamas-led October 7 assault, attacking ships in the Red Sea and launching missiles toward Eilat and southern Israel.

  2. > pledging to continue attacks “until Jerusalem is liberated”

Before it was until the Gaza war ended. Now it’s until Israel is destroyed? What a surpriseeeeee.
