At least two people were killed and 10 injured when a boat carrying undocumented migrants struck a rocky coastline on the northwestern side of the Aegean island of Chios late on Thursday, local media reported.
Authorities rescued 17 people from the vessel, the reports said. The injured were taken to Chios General Hospital for treatment, and there was no immediate information on their condition.
It was not clear if any people were missing. No further details were available.
