MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian national team holds 103rd place in the new FIFA ranking released on 17 October, BelTA has learned.
After two defeats in the World Cup qualifiers against Denmark (0-6) and Scotland (1-2), Carlos Alos’s team are three notches down and have 1212.78 points. The Belarusian football team will play their next match in World Cup Qualifying Group C against Denmark on 15 November, and will conclude their qualifying run with a match against Greece on 18 November.
Spain tops the FIFA ranking, with Argentina going second and France third.
The next FIFA ranking will be released on 21 November.
