  10. This child is my daughters age.
    If we have a row in the morning,cause shes 13 and as gobby as her mother(me) I spend the day feeling guilty as hell because i was cross. I cannot comprehend deliberately causing her pain. My brain cannot understand how those “parents” treated their child. How that “mother” watched her baby be degraded and assaulted on a daily basis and her heart felt nothing.

    Some people aren’t fit to be in civilised company.
    I wish nothing but good for that child and I hope she finds a way to live a healthy life. I hope her “parents” dont. I hope it hurts every day.

  11. I hope that an exemplary harsh sentence is handed out to all involved, to deter others, encourage victims to come forward and to set a precedent for sentencing for future offenders.

    Too often sentencing for these types of offences are far too lenient. This wasn’t just a ‘one off’ misjudgement, this was an organised, premeditated conspiracy to abuse multiple children in a extreme way. There simply is no possible defence or mitigation possible.

    This is the sort of offence where a life sentence is appropriate. I hope all sentences run consecutivly not currently and are towards the maximum in each case.

  12. This is genuinely one of the most sickening stories I’ve ever heard. It is the very definition of what my Dad always used to say: ‘You never know what’s going on behind closed doors’. All of them especially the father deserves a whole life tariff for what they did to that girl.

  19. My mother was abused in this way. She killed herself at 38, the age I am now. I hope these children get the support they need, but they will be forever scarred, no matter what.
