There are all sorts of reasons to join Scouting America (formerly. known as Boy Scouts of America).
Does your child enjoy being outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, archery, shooting swimming, learning life skills and doing community service?
These are just a few of the things kids get to do as part of Scouting America. The program continues to teach boys and girls life skills that prepare them for their future.
Check out Denmark Units: Cub Scout Pack 19, boys and girls, kindergarten through fourth grade; Scout BSA Troop 19, boys, fifth grade to 18 years of age; and Scout BSA Troop 219, girls, fifth grade to 18 years of age.
The groups meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ, Denmark.
On Monday, Oct. 27, there will be a Halloween party at 6:30 p.m. attendees are invited to wear a costume.
