SS: The EU is meeting today with ministers from Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Black Sea to push the Middle Corridor — a new 6,500 km trade route linking China to Europe without passing through Russia.
Brussels has pledged €12 billion to boost regional trade and energy links, aiming to rival both China’s Belt and Road and Russia’s old influence.
The challenge: decades of economic ties to Beijing and Moscow.
The goal: build new connections — and a new balance of power across Eurasia.
