What an embarrassing blunder for TheTab to have made
Couldn’t have been Edinburgh, the locals were far too friendly. Not one of them walked headlong into anyone without any kind of apology!Â
Ha ha ha.
Nothing like petty rivalry between cities. This will have people fuming.
Almost like when hasselhoff announced how much he loved Ireland.
When he was in Scotland.
Not exactly a hard mistake for someone not familiar with the area looking at a weather map to be fair.
Maybe they just wanted to avoid pronouncing Edinburgh.
The comments on these types of posts are always hilariously predictable.
You get folk from Glasgow being smug, telling everyone how much they think their city is better than Edinburgh (when no one asked).
Then you’ve got the folk from Edinburgh responding to these comments with genuinely classist remarks about Glasgow (not beating the pompous allegations with that shite).
Who knows, maybe this post will be different…
So was it just people in Edinburgh who were left fuming . Why only Edinburgh ?
Bbc don’t don’t again, no one wants to be mistaken as coming from Edinburgh
Fuming seems like an overreaction.
Why do they even need their city labelled?
Wait. Theres TWO cities in scotland?
Huh.
What an absolute disaster…. Did they SLAM the bbc with complaints highlighting their OUTRAGE?
They upgraded Edinburgh to Glasgow They should be happy
Fuming
Pure dead fuming
Hilarious! Why does anybody trust the BBC?
I mind when I saw Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas at T in the park (I didn’t stay long)
Eminem kept saying “yo Edinburgg” and the Black Eyed Peas kept saying (yo glasgowh make some noise)
I now pronounce Pittsburgh like Edinburgh just to be a dick. The irony is that Pittsburgh was probably pronounced that way to begin with.
Good and bad places in both cities, I don’t know why you all can’t just have a laugh without it turning into some elitist shite

Edinburgh viewers can be such snobs, we all know they **wish** they could be mistaken for Glasgow
