A Fountain Inn, South Carolina, man has been reunited with his high school ring that he lost 47 years ago. Last week, Fountain Inn Natural Gas Tech III, Chris Craine, found the Hillcrest High School class ring buried near a gas line. The gas company posted pictures of the ring on Facebook and the owner was found. They tell us it belongs to Tommy Jennings who drove a school bus and worked second shift (while attending school) to buy the ring with his own money. Jennings said he had the ring for less than a year when it was accidentally lost.”What a treat it was to see the smiles on his face when he picked up the ring. Great job Chris and everyone that helped find Mr. Jennings!,” a Facebook post by the city of Fountain Inn said. “Just like a fairytale ending, the ring was returned — and it still fits perfectly.”
