Trump denies sending supersonic bombers to Venezuela coast. The flight data says otherwise

1. “No, its false,” Trump told reporters when asked about the report. Trump added Washington was “very unhappy with Venezuela.”

   Reports suggest the U.S. military flew a pair of supersonic, heavy bombers up to the coast of Venezuela on Thursday, a little over a week after another group of American bombers made a similar journey as part of a training exercise to simulate an attack.

2. Would toppling Maduro be a slam dunk for America ? Because the guy is pretty unpopular both at home and to neighboring countries. Also there’s a viable opposition leader waiting to step in.

   I guess Trump is just trying to coerce Venezuela to do something stupid, like perhaps shooting at US warships or airplanes, and then swoop right in.

3. Half of the US did elect someone openly admitting to fantasising -being religious. The other half tried to do the same. Why would anyone expect facts/reality to interfere?
