The United States’ Department of Defense has renamed itself the Department of War. The Trump Administration has floated the idea that our armed forces are to receive some of their warfare preparation in “fighting crime” in some of our major cities — regardless whether some of our local mayors and state governors want it or not.
Yes, I do believe active combat experience can better prepare our “warrior” military for whenever they’re truly needed. “Therefore, President Trump, send U. S. forces into Ukraine (where the Ukrainians would welcome them!) in their determined effort to turn back the prolonged, destructive Russian invasion of their country.”

Let us return to the rhetoric of “defense”, where Ukraine is to have sustained support in the defense of their country (as well as West Europe). We need to clearly articulate that we do not choose to be at war with anyone, but that we choose to help Ukraine (and Europe) to repel any severe attack on their freedom successfully, where it has been dramatically shown to be caused by lawless Russia.
