So you've all seen these pushy illegal street traders around London. Nothing to do with Veterans. They'll tell you they put up homeless veterans on boats in dockyards, but they don't own any, they've been repossessed. Street collectors keep 50% and remaining goes to the Mills Brothers. The one seen collecting is Louis Mills, he's never served in the British Forces, but is well known to the Police for other things! As it's coming up to Remembrance Day you'll see these gutter rats trying to get as much money as possible. As a Veteran, and from other Veterans avoid engaging with them. Report their presence to the Police, or Transport Police if outside a station. We need to stop these people taking money people think is going to help veterans.

  1. As much as a I dislike this scam ‘charity’, cocaine possession is hardly something to morally go after in london…

  2. Does reporting them to the police do anything? Do the police act?

  3. How relevant is the cocaine charge? Idgaf about that I care that they’re scamming people

  4. for some reason they weren’t out collecting on the day of the army v navy rugby match ………..

  5. Hate these twats. Always outside my station once per week, one of them usually wearing a fake commando type beret. Really frustrating that there’s no enforcement of them.

  6. Is stolen valour illegal in the UK? I know it is in the USA.

  7. Didn’t expect so much info in a we r Blighty post but actually interesting. Thank you and thank you for your service.

  8. reddit can be a real toxic place. but i am kinda proud of this sub for how determined people are to bring this group down.

  9. Wow!!! I didn’t even think twice about giving my money.

The only question though is who do we then give? This one is close to my heart. Winter is upon us.

  10. One time I saw these guys handing out flyers outside Waterloo station and I was able to sneak over to the table and steal all the rest of their flyers.

So cathartic to throw that shit in the bin

  11. Loads of scam charities like these lot about, strange that I only ever see this particular one on r/london.

  12. People should know anyone wearing white trainers, specially in London, has nothing to lose in life and shouldn’t be trusted.

  13. Absolute bunch of oxygen thieves, they really boil my piss.
