We have one of those too in my parent kitchen, it was already there 20 years ago (obviously there is less in it now) but we don’t use that often. Still fine to use as sugar don’t expire, unless improperly stored (in humidity or things like that).
I have always seen this packaging for it for as long as I can remember (so late 80’s), bu apparently they changed the packaging in 2018 and i didn’t notice that, so my memory might not be very reliable…
You mean this particular bag or just the design. I don’t know for sure but the font makes me think 1970s. I know they looked the same in the 90s but I was not alive before the 90s
straight from my childhood
I can still recall the smell of that package
Kinnekessuiker zonder kinneke, wtf?
Can’t be that old. A webshop still sells with the picture of this.
I remember this interesting thread from someone who happened to have the original illustration of the child eating a slice of bread with brown sugar, hanging in their kitchen.

Existed in the 90´s too
Not that old, I’ve known it during my childhood. So it still existed some time in the 2000s.
It’s cassonade, what could happen to make it out of date really?
https://www.ranson.be/kiosk-app/product/c-100x20g-kandijcassonade-bruin i doubt they’re using photography from the 80s to sell these. So might be fairly recent.
it’s at least a day old if it fused into a single sugarcube
I Have more nostalgy for the Coffee Cup
The corresponding photo on openfoodfacts is from 2012 : [https://world.openfoodfacts.org/product/5410301001104/cassonade-de-candi-brune-candico](https://world.openfoodfacts.org/product/5410301001104/cassonade-de-candi-brune-candico)

Ineens goesting in rijstpap
I thought it’s still the current packaging on that delicious sugar.
We had it during my childhood in the eighties but I do remember buying the same living by myself early 2000s.
At least 60 years
Had je ook geen bruine suiker van het merk Tiense suiker met een getekende jongen op de verpakking? Heeft volgens mij ook tientallen jaren meegegaan .
Sugar doesn’t really go bad, unless it was in a moist environment. Otherwise just eat it.
Don’t post this again without also making me pancakes
I’ve seen this in the 2000’s for sure, pretty sure even 2010’s
2000’s
Almost the same color scheme as Noctua
Does anyone have a Cassonade package less than 10 years old in his/her house ?
Makkelijk te verdelen over een pannekoek met een drilboor en een lepel!
