WANA (Oct 26) – Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, former deputy coordinator of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), emphasized the continuous advancement of Iran’s defense capabilities, stating: “Today, our equipment and military capabilities are far beyond what they were during the 12-Day War, and this growth continues at an accelerating pace.”

Referring to Iran’s steady progress in the field of military technology, Naqdi said that the country’s defense systems and technologies are entirely indigenous — a factor that allows constant development and modernization. “In times of war, military needs reach their peak, and naturally, our capabilities expand in response,” he noted.

Highlighting the experience of the 12-Day War, Naqdi reiterated: “Without a doubt, our current equipment and capabilities are much more advanced and powerful than they were at that time, and this trajectory of growth is rapidly continuing.”

In another part of his remarks, Naqdi referred to recent statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump against Iran, saying: “Trump is one of the most foolish presidents in the history of the United States. His rise to power was a divine will, meant to expose the true face of the hegemonic system and reveal the real nature of America—stripped of its makeup and velvet gloves.”

He concluded by saying: “Trump will ultimately become a factor in the collapse and disintegration of the global arrogance system and the United States itself.”
