  1. I’d bet a solid 5-10% of our federal lawmakers have dementia.

  2. If only this was news.

We all know there is a problem here with politicians that are too old, but nobody is going to do anything about it.

There’s a real problem with entrenched politicians who won’t pass on the reins to the younger generations, and while I generally despise any mention of “both sides”, this is definitely a problem for both.

Trump, Biden, Sanders, McConnell, RBG, just to name a few.

And it isn’t a new problem, either. You can go back a few decades with Robert Byrd and Strom Thurmond, or do a web search and see this at least as far back as the 1920s.

Modern medicine has exacerbated the problem.

  3. At 88 are you really exhibiting EARLY signs of dementia?

  4. Can’t be Trump or his followers. They are way beyond early stages.

  5. I hope when you are the victim of a crime that whatever random thoughts an unqualified cop has about you don’t become a news story.

  6. That’s funny because the current POTUS does too and NO ONE is doing anything about it.

  7. It’s in the Supreme Court too. This is dangerous as other nations can use their growing weaknesses to get information or gain influence.

We really need term limits on everybody.

  8. If this doesn’t perfectly sum up the state of American politics, I don’t know what does.

  9. Until we start implementing a max age on reps and term limits, these reports mean nothing.

The president has dementia and is ruling the country by EO. If that doesnt matter then none of it does

  10. Hey, Republicans: “SHE SHOULD RESIGN.”

There, see how easy that was?

  11. The DC delegate has almost zero power. They shouldn’t be elected, but better a demented delegate than a demented rapist President.

  12. These elderly representatives need to go; it is simple as that. All of them are collecting a paycheck, reaping the perks of holding their position, and enjoying whatever power they have. They are not jumping in the fight that we, the people, are in. My opinion may not be popular but that’s how I feel.

  13. Its sad that they could be referring to multiple members of congress.

  14. Surprise. At least 10% of congress is too old for their jobs
