Not sure how I feel about this. I get the need to recycle, but dog-forbid a child, or a guest should accidentally throw something away that should be recycled.
Seems overkill perhaps?
Absolute micro management – it’s a joke.
Recycling is a scam. It all ends up in the ocean or a chinese landfill
The public did not sign a contract to segregate waste, we do it to be polite.
You’re telling me. I live there and got a warning letter because I had a banana peel in my black bag.
glad they have spare money/time for this sort of thing
I live in BG too, had no letters thankfully. I’m pretty good about recycling but some things like my dogs food tin take loads of warm/hot water to clean out and I’m not increasing my water and gas bills to recycle something that will inevitably end up in landfill. Isn’t it something like 90%+ of what we recycle ends up in landfill?
And don’t get me started on the bloody trolliblocs, especially when you live in a mid terraced house 🤦🏼♀️
