Bravo
Same with Brexit, there’s a short vid of a journalist somewhere saying that 99% of economic experts said Brexit would be terrible but they (the news) had to show both sides. So the 1% got 50% airtime rather than showing proportion representation.
I’m not racist, I’m a “reformoskeptic”.
Low key genius
This constant anti-Reform, anti-Farage tirade kind of reminds me of Brexit….
The more people mock and sneer the more likely it is people will vote that way. You’re doing their work for them.
Infact i have actually wondered if there is some weird double bluff going on here as Reform will know the more sneering on social media pushes votes their way – the so called ‘bots’ people talk about could well be anti-Reform
To be fair if via proportional voting Reform are not 0.7 % more like 14.5% it’s only our rubbish system that reduces MPs. Liberals got around 70 MPs with less votes 🙉
To test how true this is.
Think of an ethnicity youve met a quite a lot in real life. Now how often do you see or know of this ethnicity portrayed on UK TV, Film, Music, Sport, Media without actively looking up famous British people of this background.
Let try British Bangladeshi. If you grew up in London (especially East London) you likely have met some at school or something. They make up about 30% of East London. Now how often has a film or tv show set in East London featured a well known British Bangladesh actor or character?
Eastenders hasnt had a Bangladeshi character since the last memebers of the Jeffrey/Karim extended family left back in the 1980s when the show first started. The last time they had a creditted British Bangladeshi actor as any characters was probably Jan Uddin as a British Pakistani Jalil Iqbal and Farzana Dua Elahe as British Pakistani Parveen Abbasi (both minor characters intended to be romantically paired with a Masood family member).
Realistically Eastenders should have equal number of Bangladeshi families to English families. But thats not the case.
Tbf it does make me uncomfortable when it feels like they were chosen because of their race, like someone in production has made a conscious decision to put someone in a position based on the colour of their skin. Either as a way of virtue signalling, or an attempt to attract a certain type of advertiser or viewer. It seems cynical a lot of the time.
Why are people wanting to be more advertised to? Don’t we all suffer enough adverts?
And this is from the same Reform that has literally a channel being its own propaganda circlejerk 24/7?
This was tested and I think that 80% of the UK is White and 83% of people in adverts are white so technically White people are over represented which is ironic. (This was quoted on LBC, unsure of their source)

The only true minority in this country are the people who want to divide us, and the people who want to conquer us.
