Politics aside, it was a funny joke.
It reminds me of the one-legged Falkland veteran I met outside Liverpool Street Station when I visited London.
He had a sign that said “Falklands veteran, UK government will not help”. I was immediately angered and moved to generosity. I reached into my wallet as his sunken beady eyes widened and his hand outstretched from his piss soaked sleeping bag. I said thank you for your service as he snatched my last £20 and the remaining change from my hand. I took a step back and beamed him a smile, he smiled back and said “Gracias, señor.”
My grandad was a true hero. He managed to hold off an entire naval fleet with his heroism.
Unfortunately, he never got to truly experience Hawaii.

There’s certainly a theme among these deform weirdos. They’re all complete fantasists. Almost like they’re participating in some sort of great performance piece. It would be sad if it wasn’t so unhinged.
