This is actually very cheap considering the government has spent billions on immigration hotels. When they eventually get them out, I suspect the hotels will be boycotted and go out of business.

They actually did it because he threatened to halt the flight halfway through by making an appeal to his deportation. He applied for the £1500 deportees can apply for but was refused.
It would have cost thousands in all the extra costs had he made his appeal midflight. We already effed up detaining him once just get him the heck out before we completely lose him in the uk.

Sums up the mess the UK is in, he gets £500 to make sure he doesn’t kick off on his free plane home while his victims get a pathetic apology from the government for their gross incompetence for allowing him to illegally enter, remain and offend in the UK, before being freed early and paid to go home.
