Saw these kind of posts before so I wanted to make one too for my one year IMS (Informatikmittelschule) internship search in the field of software development of course.

Mind you that there arent many places that offer this kind of internship so I practically applied to all in the greater Zurich area.

In the end I got my absolute dream position and couldnt be happier.

  1. I don’t know how is it for internship, but for regular job, in 2025, in IT, the ratio of applications/interviews/offer is a success.

  5. Those are rookie numbers, gotta pump up those numbers! 😂 But you got THE job in the end, congratulations.

    Jokes aside, I’ll have too agree with other comments here. No answer is just very shameful. At the very least the standard answers “Wir haben uns leider für jemand anderes entschieden”, so you can at least wrap that one up and move on.

    Seeing as I, too, am currently interning in an IT position. So I feel your pain. The process was long and really not that easy. Multiple interviews just for the one internship I got in the end. Oof.

  10. How the hell did you manage that ratio. 1 year ago I was searching and sent 400+ CV, got 23 interview and 1 offer for internship/junior.
    Honestly congrats and good luck in your career.
