The Edinet Medical Center received new digital radiography equipment under the Japanese government’s Kusanone grant program. The Japanese Embassy in Chisinau announced this on social media. The equipment, valued at $130,000, will improve the efficiency of medical examinations and reduce the workload of the Center’s doctors and patients. The Kusanone Human Security Grant Program was launched in Moldova in 2008. Since then, Japan has provided grants totaling $7.7 million for 93 projects in education, healthcare, and public services. The Kusanone program for 2026 has already been launched.
