  1. If it is not Israel, nobody cares. The UAE is heavily supporting the rebel group (RSF) against the government forces. It is really a shame because not so long ago, a student movement forced free elections and for a few years there was actual democracy, not imposed by foreign forces, but from grassroots movement. That didn’t last long and the country fell into civil war. If there was real pressure against the UAE, the RSF wouldn’t have the access to advanced weapons and plenty of money for selling gold to the UAE.

  2. Honestly, I’m not sure how much of a result these are likely to have. The UK has shown that it’s not especially eager to do anything about genocide, not when the interests of it’s allies are concerned.

    I hope this leads to some sort of intervention though.
