    Southerners did this before in the 1860s. “When the rich wage war its the poor who die” clearly applied. 

    White trash died en masse for the slaveocracy. And the only benefit they died for was the  right to look down on Black people. But the richer slavers gained all the profits from unpaid labor, in a system that helped keep most working class whites poor. 

    They haven’t learned a damn thing in 150 years. They still live in denial of class conflict, and instead they obsess over racial differences.

All those idiot southerners eating up bullshit about “southern pride” and racial superiority, to prop up a system that only served the rich plantation owners. They lived in squalor, and eventually died in the mud, to protect the rich assholes. And they still cling to it, 150 years later.

    The Confedracy was a shit show. They ran things so poorly that they actually had bread riots. Yes, the side that had most of the agriculture and slaves to run it, couldn’t be bothered to feed it’s citizens.
