In the Mykolaiv rural community, a drone hit a minibus.

“Inside was only the driver – he managed to leave the vehicle before the impact. The minibus caught fire from the strike. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.”

– Hryhorov

According to the head of the regional administration, the mentioned community has been in the zone of mandatory evacuation for almost six months – some people left, but some have returned despite ongoing threats.

Additionally, the border areas of Sumy region are experiencing repeated FPV drones strikes.

“Only today on the outskirts of this community, the defense forces destroyed several enemy drones, but the enemy continues directing them at civilians – at buses, motorcycles, bicycles,”

– Hryhorov

The authorities emphasize that evacuation is a necessary step to safeguard people’s lives, and the process is supported by safety measures and informational support for residents.

“I urge residents of border areas not to travel toward the border and not to return to settlements where evacuation has been announced. This is a matter of safety and life,”

– head of the military administration

As of the start of November, enemy attacks damaged energy facilities: parts of Sumy region remained without power, which is being restored. There are also reports of a 33-year-old man being wounded in one of the districts. Power restoration is ongoing.
