If I remember correctly, this was outside of Bakhmut on the infamous “Road of Life” that the Ukrainians were defending.

This footage is from early 2023, during the battle of Bakhmut. Specifically this takes place at the trench system on the northern flank of Bakhmut, behind which was the “Road of Life” Ukrainian troops were using to supply logistics into the city.

I wonder now, two years on, if those Ukrainians are still with us :/
