Wife offered a garden table and chairs free for collection. A woman arranged to pick the set up. Put everything outside ready to be collected, lastly bringing the glass table top to outside and the damn thing just exploded in our hands.
Took ages to clean up, pffffff just thought I would share our misfortune

  6. This type of glass is very hard but also very fragile, it takes only a single tap by something hard enough to shatter the whole thing

  9. I was driving a car a couple years ago and suddenly a loud bang. Back window just exploded. It was so loud like it was a exploding grenate.

  10. Never put tempered glass on tile. That glass is highly stressed and ceramic tiles are very hard and don’t compress, resulting in the glass giving way.

  11. I’ve seen this happen due to a drop in temperature. Table went from 21 to 7 degrees and blew up
