Hmmm there seems to be a crazy jump during q1 of this year when it comes to general usage
My company has a subscription to MS Office including Copilot. We’ve experimented with Copilot, but it’s largely useless for anything beyond taking notes during meetings. We would count as having a paid subscription to an AI model, but we use that AI for <1% of business operations.
There’s no source posted yet for what the “US Government Estimate” is supposed to be an estimate of.
In my experience government is usually much more efficient than the private sector. Even one of the DOGE engineers who came from big tech said he was surprised with how efficient the federal government is. In contrast, you’ll find videos on TikTok of Meta employees talking about how they make $180k a year a literally do nothing. Even the CEOs of those companies reduced headcount significantly over the last couple years and saw no declines in revenue or profitability. So what were all those extra people doing on the payroll?
I wonder if the one adobe subscription my company maintains would count for this
