   But Beijing’s tools go beyond these critical minerals. Three other industries where China has a chokehold—lithium-ion batteries, mature chips and pharmaceutical ingredients—give an idea of what the U.S. would need to do to free itself fully from vulnerability.

2. Its been the place the global north sent everything to be made for what 40 years? And we are supposed to be shocked they got good at it? I guess because they’re Chinese we should of never assumed that’d they’d ever improve anything. And then the world acts like its a chinese plot, like bruh ur ceos built the factories there.
