Iran is facing a severe water crisis as 67% of its dams are empty and rainfall has dropped to historic lows.
Twenty of Iran’s 31 provinces have had no rain since late September. The capital, Tehran, is especially at risk, with its main reservoir holding less than two weeks of water.
Officials say the Amir Kabir Dam is 85% empty and only a few million cubic meters of water remain usable.
Authorities are warning of possible rationing soon and urging the public to cut consumption while hoping for rain later in the season.
Shouldn’ta spent all that money on oppressing their own people and destabalizing other countries through proxy extremist groups
Relevant:
>Water is now being treated as a commodity in financial markets. The world’s first water futures market, which allows investors to trade water and water rights, was launched in California in late 2020.
Begun, the Water wars have.
Watch them somehow blame it on the Jews.
Yet they’ve spent decades picking a fight with a powerhouse in water desalination and agriculture, only to gain absolutely nothing in return…. makes perfect sense
Imagine spending all that money on the nuclear program and proxy terrorist groups on desalination plants.
