We’re so proud to be French that we made a car that looks like a frog from the front and from the back. I like it and I would drive it through Britain just to annoy Barry, if only he could drive to the proper side of the road.

  10. I know that you cant build them like they used to due to safety reasons but like the R5 this one looks bloated right next to its predecessor.

    Although no you are incorrect as we drive on the correct side of the road as do all developed countries 

  12. French ICE cars all sucked, germans mastered ICE. But the tables have turned it seems. Pierre is good at electric cars and Hans sucks at them so far.

  13. Pierre, it is almost like you don’t know us at all. We love stuff like this, the Renault 5 is selling like hot cakes too.

    Peugeots were genuinely great until the mid-2000s when you guys forgot how to make pretty/functional/fun cars. How could they go from making the 106/205/306 Gtis and the stunning 406 coupe, to creating the 1.2 Puretech? Literally the second worst engine of the last twenty years.

    Renaults were bad for a while (lost their va va voom) but seem good again. Citroens are mostly meh but sometimes they come up seriously mad stuff or the most comfortable barges known to man.

    French cars don’t annoy us, it’s French *people* that annoy us.

  14. I’d say there’s a lot of love for the Twingo over here. I feel like seeing young lads in beat up Twingo spinning wheels in the parking lot at Tesco is part of the scenery of small town Britain.

  15. French cars were often innovative but the engines sucked. So electric vehicles should be perfect for them.

  17. We used to play a “game” as kids where we said “Twingo” when we saw one and hit someone (in the shoulder). If it was a black one, we hit them twice. If it was a cabriolet, you fucked up and they got to hit you back a bunch.
