Our Sixth Form students enjoyed an unforgettable four-day adventure in Iceland, filled with breathtaking landscapes, thrilling activities and memories to last a lifetime.
The tour began on the dramatic Reykjanes Peninsula, where students had the unique opportunity to stand on the Bridge Between Two Continents, straddling the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. The group also explored ReykjavÃk, including the futuristic Perlan exhibition centre, taking in spectacular views and learning about Iceland’s natural wonders.

The famous Golden Circle tour took centre stage on the second day, with students marvelling at erupting geysers, powerful waterfalls, and geothermal landscapes. The day ended with a relaxing soak in the Secret Lagoon; an experience that combined adventure with well-earned relaxation.

On day three, the journey continued along Iceland’s stunning South Shore, featuring black sand beaches, towering cliffs, and a thrilling glacier hike. The experience offered a hands-on encounter with the raw power of Iceland’s icy landscapes.

The final day included a visit to the Icelandic Lava Centre and the Hellisheiði Power Station, showcasing Iceland’s volcanic activity and renewable energy innovations. The trip concluded with the immersive FlyOver Iceland experience, a spectacular finale that left students inspired by the country’s natural beauty.
Our Sixth Form students returned home with not only incredible memories but a deeper understanding of Iceland’s unique landscapes and natural wonders.
