Hence, Ambassador.
For those who don’t know, these are 40 trees donated by the Governor of Nara Province, Japan, where they are native. So he’s getting a taste of home while also enjoying a symbol of exchange and friendship that are thriving in the park.
In other words, this excursion is 100% job relevant.
A good ambassador shoyld always have an affinity for the nation they are stationed in. This guy knows his job.
He is all in on bigging up both countries. I mean, really, what more could you ask for from an Ambassador?
Both the former and current Japanese ambassadors in Sweden had a similar, very wholesome vibe. Which makes me think this is very much their training, and a strategy.
Perhaps soon he’ll stop somewhere for a prayer and a pint!
The Japanese Ambassador is such an awesome soul. Will be sad when he inevitably gets his next posting.
