  4. Most of that lot appeared to be aimlessly wandering around in open territory during daylight without a clue in what direction they were heading.

  8. I’ve seen a lot of those anti drone cloaks in these videos which really isn’t the point of them.

    These videos makes me wonder what goes through someone’s mind when a drone is flying straight at their face, or when that buzzing starts creeping up behind their neck. Modern warfare is truly insane, though I guess that’s felt true for every war in history. Makes you wonder what new horrible inventions the future’s got waiting..

  12. Looks like a bunch of them stood still to avoid the drone from seeing them. Do they think that or are told to stand still? Maybe a mix of both.

  13. What ever happened to the drones that dropped grenades? Are they still utilized or is it just cheaper to have drones that are one time use.

Russia’s ‘Meatgrinder’”](https://dichebach.substack.com/p/russias-war-of-self-destruction-edf) claims by Zelenskyy and Putin as well as Western analysts all converge on a value of “650,000 Russian troops deployed in the war in Ukraine”–out of Russia’s total of 1,134,000 . . . which yes, is an absurdly high fraction of a total military to be deployed in a war.

    Leaked Russion MoD data back in August indicated that total casualties from Jan to August worked out to:

    281,550 TOTAL: 86,744 KIA + 158,529 WIA + 33,996 MIA + 2,311 POW.

    Assuming a generous rate of only 15% of WIA as unrecoverable (cannot return to duty) and including MIA and KIA, that works out to 144,500 unrecoverable losses from Jan to August 2025: a 22% reduction in that 650,000.
