they had greatest chance to shut the bird down right there before it got worse. god I love orcs. self cleaning problem.
Why the hell did the pilot decide to fly again after somewhat safely crash landing in the water.
The skill of the pilot is surpassed only by the skill of the cameraman.
Binge drinking or mechanical problems?
Someone should arrest the cameraman for incompetence.
5/5 filming and flying work
This seems like some kind of medical emergency for the pilot like a stroke, confusion goes beyond being inebriated.
Just poor handling. Pilot has probably been drinking.
I would’ve jumped out over the water
Had the same situation back in the day. Chopper started acting up, I dropped it fast. No hesitation. Airframe integrity goes, you don’t take chances. You land. End of story.
God damn Russians are fucking dumb. 🤣
I don’t understand how you have a landing that bad, get airborne again, get it back on deck (water ditch is better than taking off) and then get back off deck and climb a hundred feet just so you can crash and kill everybody.
How do you fuck up that badly?
Man, for about 20 seconds I bet he really wanted to call a do over
Whole back end missing, yea forget a soft landing, lets keep going up
Cameraman: Stevie W.
russian quality 😀
Seen steadier hands at my AA meetings
Pilot figured a little altitude would buy him some time to sort things out.
There is also video of what happened later:

The back fell off.
When he gently touched down on the water after 10 seconds, I thought to myself: How could anyone have died in this?
Perhaps the pilot knew if the executives didn’t make their meeting it would be the end of the pilot’s flying career.
Or everyone was freaking out or all stunned from the initial ground contact.
“This ocean ain’t gonna tell me what to do!”
I’ve never wanted to punch a camera man more
Damn cameraman, you had one job !
when the freakin tail got snapped the pilot should land quickly
i know that counterrotating rotor helicopters can somewhat fly without a tail but its not stable
How to turn a somewhat survivable ditching into a fatal crash. I have no idea why you’d keep trying to fly this one!
From the cameraman to the pilot, is everyone in Russia operating while drunk?
Typical russian. They could have quit early and learned a valuable lesson, instead they dial it up to 11 and suffer consequences. They never do things in moderation.

They could’ve bailed right there dang
Pilot : Have we died ?
Copilot : No we landed in the sea
Pilot: Ok, wait a minute
I question if this guy actually was ever trained to fly
How is it possible that someone is this bad with a camera?

This was so perfectly avoidable, god the russian mind is a thing of curious wonder
I’ve never yelled at a video as much as this one. The pilot and the cameraman both had one job. How do you not realize the back of your helicopter is hanging by the wires after you crash into the rocks? I think they’re all drunk.
This is hands down the most Looney Toons style crash I’ve ever seen lmfao
I’m no pilot but he almost landed – why taking off again?
