Xcel doubles down on plan to swap coal for clean power in Minnesota

1. Why wouldn’t they? They make more money when they spend on new generation and grow their balance sheet.

2. Anything for a buck. If management weren’t getting finders fees from the coal mine operators they would be investing the company’s money in clean energy generation.
