Would never see that from DUP, fair play, United Ireland will be here in our lifetime
The northern Uí Néill dynasty has resumed. The high kings and queens of Ireland are back.

I must say, well done Michelle.
👏👏 fair play to her. Understanding that there is more than one culture is how this country moves on.
She’s honestly the best we’ve ever had.
Where are the poppies then
I’ll out myself as a Corkonian who’s never lived north of Cork.
I’ve been taken aback by how insanely good at fostering cross community ties O’Neill has been. It would take a Corkwoman after all like.
I’ve also been taken aback by Little-Pengellys refusal to show up to Connolly’s inauguration, especially after O’Neill has done so much to foster ties with the unionist community and showed up to the British King’s inauguration.
Like surely even unionists are embarrassed by Little-pengellys refusal to be mature and show leadership in the same way that O’Neill has.
It’s hilarious to see the double standards on this sub, which all week has been totally disparaging of Remembrance Day and anyone who wishes to pay respect to the dead.
Now Michelle O’Neill does it and those people are oddly silent.
I mean symbolic soundbites aside, no one from Sinn Fein or the DUP will ever be a “first minister for all”.
We all know this so why pretend differently?
Michelle has deeply offended the families of victims of the British forces by attending this service, just as she has offended victims of the IRA by saying there was no alternative to their terrorism.
She isn’t a first minster for them.
Until we have political representation that isn’t based on orange/green politics, a “first minister for all” is just a nice story we tell ourselves.
Who is that absolute unit in the back?
Meanwhile her DUP colleague declined an invitation to the presidential inauguration in Dublin, which is considered a bit of a snub, but the general feeling is one of having rather low expectations of that particular party. I don’t think many people will notice the negative gesture beyond a bit of a shrug, but they do notice the positive – the optimistic, the reaching out across old divides to build bridges.
Ron McDowell refused to attend given Michelle O’Neill’s links to Irish Republicanism, yet he was happy swanning about the occupied territories – a guest of an actual terrorist state, under the first-hand guidance of an IOF war criminal – again, a regional and international terrorist regime founded _undeniably_ from bonafide terrorist organizations…

Two Pro O’Neill posts within a hour, both with many times the upvotes and comments than other posts at the minute.
Either everyone cares massively more about this then anything else happening in NI, or the PR team is getting good overtime
Hats off to her.
Fair play, I’m from a republican area and they all hate her and SF nearly more than unionists, knuckle draggers.
She’s appeasing British rule in Ireland providing them a stable economy while we the electorate get excuses and more bills and taxes.
Unionists cheerlead this, nationalists give her her due, Republicans are rightly disappointed.
Hats off to her
Leadership in action
Bravo! Michelle a true leader.
Why do Sinn Fein keel bending over backwards to please Unionists? It’s always been totally one sided.
