Elon Musk is being flamed online for posting a bizarre AI-generated video of a young woman saying, “I will always love you.”
The twice-divorced, 54-year-old father of 14 children took to his social platform, X, to share his AI tool grok’s advanced life-like video creation abilities. The video showed a beautiful, young brunette woman, with the post caption reading, “Grok Imagine prompt: She smiles and says ‘I will always love you.'”
Musk, the richest man in the world, made the post just hours after Tesla shareholders approved a historic $1 trillion package for him, leaving many X users feeling disturbed and upset about Musk’s apparent mental state. Several X users took to his comments to poke fun at the billionaire—who is currently on track to become the world’s first trillionaire—for his bizarre post.

X users widely expressed a mixture of frustration and concern for Musk following the post.
“This is sad, you spent $100 billion so a girl will say she likes you,” one user said, seemingly referring to his February 2025 bid to purchase OpenAI, despite the tech billionaire’s own previous concerns about an AI takeover.
One X user joked that Musk’s post was “the most divorced post of all time,” while another X user billed it as “the saddest post in the history of this website.”
Another X user expressed concern, saying of the AI-generated women, “It’s creepy and soulless.”
“This s— has to stop. It’s not healthy. It’s sad,” another X user added in a call to arms against AI.
Several X users took aim at Musk’s seemingly contradictory beliefs towards family systems and romantic relationships.
“This’ll be great for the fertility crisis, Elon,” one X user sarcastically remarked.
Another X user similarly noted, “Wasn’t this guy warning people about plummeting birth rates a few months ago?”.
“Solving the population crisis… one prompt at a time,” a third X user joked.
Many X users pointed to the post as evidence that money cannot buy happiness given that Musk, the richest man in the world, had secured a massive business deal that added a massive amount to his already staggering net worth just earlier that day.
“Bro gets a $1 trillion pay package and hours later he’s using his AI to imagine someone telling him ‘I love you,’” one X user wrote.
Another X user added, “It really ain’t about the money if you don’t have love and someone to share it with. If this ain’t proof, I don’t know what is.”
