“The results for the post-season (specifically October) and the first ten months of 2025 confirm that Kvarner tourism is systematically attracting guests outside the main tourist season. That’s the key to our long-term goal – the development of year-round tourism across the area. The tourism products that we’ve been working intensively on, such as the regional food scene, active tourism, health tourism and other such things, have become strong motives for coming to Kvarner during the pre- and post-season. They successfullu attract visitors precisely during this period,” revealed the director of the Kvarner Tourist Board, Irena Peršić Živadinov.
the british are coming!

Last week was marked by optimistic announcements for tourism from the famous WTM fair in London. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Jet2 group, under which Jet2.com operates as the third largest airline in the UK. Jet2holidays, as one of the leading British tour operators offering package deals for the entire Mediterranean, is also involved. The agreement predicts very welcome growth in British tourist arrivals of as much as 45% over the next four years, which is one of the most important agreements to be cemented for Croatian tourism this autumn.
“According to research carried out by the British Association of Travel Agents, Croatia is in the TOP fifteen markets where Brits want to travel in 2026. These are all very promising signals for 2026, in which price competitiveness remains key for Croatia. It’s important that we now come up with package arrangements that offer a good price-quality ratio, and that’s why I’m calling on the entire tourism sector to be wise and careful when setting their prices,” warned Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina who has been repeating this same mantra for months now.
Tourists visiting Croatia from the UK are typically above-average consumers. While most other tourists, according to the latest available data, spend an average of 140 euros per day, the Brits spend an average of 232 euros per day when in Croatia.
