Austria’s après-ski scene has long been defined by crowded huts, brass bands, and beer steins, but a new generation is changing that vibe. At the center of that shift is MAJA, an Austrian collective founded by Mole and Jean-Philippe in 2022. What began as a small, high-altitude experiment in Tyrol has evolved into one of the Alps’ most forward-thinking event series, where deep house meets mountain light, and the focus is less on chaos, more on connection.

MAJA’s concept is simple: reimagine après-ski through curated house music, design, and atmosphere. Over the past three seasons, the duo has refined the balance between alpine authenticity and modern club culture, transforming mountaintop terraces and five-star lodges into dance floors. Their events feel as intentional as they are spontaneous, sunlight fading over the peaks, clean production, and a crowd that reflects the new face of alpine leisure: younger, international, and design-conscious.

Now, entering its third year, MAJA is returning with its most ambitious season yet. The 2025-26 Winter Tour unites 14 venues across Austria, from iconic slopeside lodges in Kitzbühel to elevated hideaways in Sölden, Leogang, and St. Anton.

“In our third year, we’ve brought together the best venues from the past two seasons, with the top dates at the most important times. We’re working with the region’s best partners—from five-star luxury hotels and high-class mountain lodges to premium drink brands. Internationally known headliners are on board, but the original, honest MAJA spirit will definitely still be there. We can’t wait!” – Mole

What to Expect

Expect a refined yet adventurous iteration of the MAJA formula: daytime and sunset sets in iconic alpine lodges and mountain rooftops. A crowd balancing local ski-enthusiasts and jet-setters chasing the après-ski beat, and a production that meshes high-class hospitality (five-star hotels, premium drink brands) with the raw-vibe mountain-party roots of the project.

The venues range from lodge rooftops in Kitzbühel to historic inns in Leogang and panoramic huts like Hornköpflhütte with ski-in/ski-out access, panoramic mountain views, and DJ sets drifting into golden-hour sessions. The NYE double-header in Kitzbühel promises both a ski-day event and an alpine rooftop night set. While big-name headliners are hinted at, the duo emphasises that “the original, honest MAJA spirit will definitely still be there”—i.e., intimate capacity, unexpected locations, and that alpine-underground-feel they have built.

Shaping the Future of Alpine Culture

MAJA represents a changing pulse in alpine culture, where the next generation of skiers and riders values atmosphere, music, and design as much as snow conditions. For decades, après-ski was synonymous with novelty and noise. Now, it’s evolving into something more intentional, more connected.

By bridging the soul of the mountains with the sophistication of modern nightlife, MAJA has carved out a new identity for Austrian après-ski, one that respects tradition while redefining it. As the 2025-26 tour approaches, the question isn’t whether MAJA will sell out; it’s how far their influence will reach across the Alps and beyond.
